ETS Fellowships

The ETS board took the decision of reopening the call for the ETS Fellowships. Fellowships are meant to support participation to ECT 2025 in Nancy, France, of European graduate students from less wealthy research groups. Fellowship covers student’s registration only. The final deadline for applications is set to June 23, 2025.
How to apply?
Applications must be sent to european.thermoelectric.soc@gmail.com and must include:
- (a) a list of applicant’s publications
- (b) applicant’s full CV, including affiliation, personal address, and age
- (c) a self-certification by the applicant’s tutor of ongoing funded projects
- (d) a letter of commitment ensuring the availability of funds to cover travel and lodging expenses
- (e) a motivation letter
The board decided to accept also applications from postdoctoral researchers with no permanent positions, although postdoctoral applications will be given lower funding priority than graduate student applications.
Fellowships will be awarded only to applicants who successfully submitted a communication accepted for an oral or a poster presentation at ECT 2025. The ETS board will rank applications and will inform all applicants by e-mail not later than July 15, 2025.
